Aerodrome recommends that all beginner skaters try one of our Learn to Skate courses which are held during most weeks of the year.  Group lessons offer excellent value for money and give the skater the opportunity to see if they like the sport before committing to private Lessons.

The Aerodrome also offers private lessons to skaters either to supplement their Learn to Skate classes, or booked on an individual basis.  Private Lesson fees range from $25.00 to $40.00 and usually last for 30 minutes.  All our coaches have basic qualifications based on the PSA (Professional Skaters Association), and full liability coverage. It may be worth noting that the many of our younger (junior) coaches do not have the coaching experience of the senior staff even though they are very proficient at skating.  Generally the most experienced coaches command the higher lesson rates.

Please note that our coaches are independent contractors so payment is made directly to the coach. Also please note that when scheduling a private lesson this does not include the cost of entering the session. The price of entry will depend on whether the lesson is booked on a public session, Learn to Skate Practice session or a Freestyle session)
